AeroPress

Making the perfect AeroPress coffee involves some experimentation and personal preference, but here's a tried-and-true method to get you started:

What You’ll Need:

- Mi Destino Coffee Beans

- AeroPress

- AeroPress paper or metal filter

- Coffee grinder or ground coffee

- Digital scale

- Gooseneck kettle

- Timer

- Hot water (about 200°F or 93°C)

- Stirring tool (included in AeroPress)

- Mug or carafe

Ingredients:

- 17 grams of coffee beans

- 250 grams of water (heated to 195-205°F or 90-96°C)

Instructions:

1. Preparing the AeroPress

- Assemble the AeroPress in the inverted method (plunger at the bottom, chamber on top).

- Rinse the filter with hot water and place it in the filter cap.

2. *Grind the Coffee:*

- Grind 17 grams of coffee to a medium-fine consistency (slightly finer than drip coffee but coarser than espresso).

3. *Add Coffee:*

- Add the ground coffee to the inverted AeroPress.

4. *Add Water:*

- Start the timer and pour 250 grams of hot water over the coffee grounds. Pour slowly to ensure all the grounds are saturated.

5. *Stir:*

- Stir the coffee and water mixture for about 10 seconds to ensure even extraction.

6. *Bloom:*

- Let the coffee bloom for 30-45 seconds. This allows gases to escape and enhances flavor extraction.

7. *Steep:*

- Place the filter cap with the wet filter onto the AeroPress. Let the coffee steep for a total time of 1:30 to 2:00 minutes from the start of the pour.

8. *Press:*

- After the steeping time is up, carefully flip the AeroPress onto a sturdy mug or cup.

- Press the plunger down slowly and steadily, taking about 20-30 seconds to complete the press.

9. *Enjoy:*

- Remove the AeroPress and discard the used coffee grounds and filter.

- Enjoy your freshly brewed AeroPress coffee!

Feel free to adjust the coffee-to-water ratio and steeping time to match your personal taste preferences.
